Roger Blowey joins us after being the principal pig vet at the Wood Veterinary Group in Gloucester. He has run the Gloucester Pig meeting for 35 years and is a well-respected practitioner and speaker, providing lectures for Universities and for the PVS John Walton days. Although Roger's main passion has been in dairy work he is one of the last true all-rounders; with an enthusiasm undimmed by age which has inspired many vets and clients.
He joins us as a consultant primarily servicing his current client base, and we look forward to a new "old head" in the team.
Victoria qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012 having completed the combined degree in Veterinary Science and Veterinary Medicine. Since then Victoria has worked in small animal general practice, at London Zoo's pathology department and recently returned from an international project with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine working on swine influenza and cysticercosis surveillance across pig farms in Cambodia and Thailand.
Victoria joins us on the 5th May, 2015.
