Royal Wootton Bassett and its community has long had a close relationship with the courageous men and women in military service; it has achieved a special place in the hearts of the nation for the respect shown marking the homecomings of those who have served and those too who have been lost during active service.
Allen Parton is a veteran of the Gulf War. His story, and what he has achieved since, is remarkable. We are delighted to be able to have Allen come to Royal Wootton Bassett and deliver his inspirational talk on his life and the founding of the Hounds for Heroes charity. The charity trains and provides assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women in the UK Armed Forces and Civilian Emergency Services.
Tickets to this FREE evening event are limited, and we will be offering 150 seats initially to those living in close proximity to Royal Wootton Bassett. We hope to see as many of our clients there as possble on Monday 24th February at the Memorial Hall on Station Road.
This promises to be an evening to remember in support of a wonderful charity. Entry will be by ticket only; every ticket will be entered into a prize draw.
