Michael Hollywood

Mike qualified from London University in 1994. He completed a small animal internship at the Royal Veterinary College, London before joining the practice in November 1995. He gained his RCVS certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in May 2000 and joined the partnership of the practice in July 2001.

Cyril Hayes

Cyril qualified from Dublin in 1998. After spending 18 months in mixed practice he decided to concentrate solely on small animals. He joined the practice in 2001 and is predominantly based at our Tetbury branch, although he also has surgeries at Malmesbury. His main interest is internal medicine. Cyril joined the partnership of the practice in July 2006.

Julie Hollywood

Julie qualified from London in 1995. After working in small animal practice in Chippenham for 7 years she joined the George in 2003. Her interests include feline and rabbit medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Amy Watson

Amy qualified from cambridge in 2005 and joined the Small Animal department at the George in October of that year. Whilst she enjoys all aspects of medicine and surgery she does have a keen interest in feline medicine and paediatrics.

Emily Tomlin

Emily qualified from Edinburgh in 2004. After working in mixed practice in Lincolnshire for nearly 3 years she decided to further her small animal experience in New Zealand. She then joined the practice in January 2008. Emily enjoys the variety of general practice, but has a particular interest in surgery.

Iain Hunt

Iain graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2004. He moved south to take up a post as a mixed practitioner in Cornwall where he stayed for 2.5 years. Iain joined the GVG in March 2007 where he has taken on a purely small animal role. He enjoys all aspects of small animal practice and has a particular interest in surgery. He enjoys all sports, and is a regular on the football pitch and golf course. He was also part of the winning Tetbury Woolsack Race team in May 2008.

Kathryn Fleming

Kathryn qualified from Bristol in 2007 and joined the practice in November of that year. Before starting at The George she spent a month in Nepal and enjoyed volunteering for a charity helping street dogs in Kathmandu. Her interests include surgery and imaging, particularly ultrasonography.

Lauren Harger

Lauren graduated from Bristol in July 2008 and joined the small animal team in November of this year. After graduating, Lauren took some time out to go travelling in South America, completing the Inca Trail in Peru and visiting the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. She has a keen interest in diagnostic imaging.
