Jenny Hindmarsh Equine Vet at The George Equine ClinicWELCOME TO JENNY HINDMARSH BVSc MRCVS
As the horse world gets going again with the competition season starting and the countryside looking amazing, we are really pleased to welcome Jenny Hindmarsh to our equine vet team. Jenny 's arrival further strengthens our team; as well as being an equine vet she also holds a degree in Equine Sports Science and a post graduate diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice (equine).

Jenny joins us from working at Langford Equine Hospital at the University of Bristol referral centre. Jenny is an excellent vet, passionate about her work and shares The George Equine Clinic ethos around providing quality veterinary care that is right for you and your horse, and at great value.

WORKING DURING LOCKDOWN
Certainly the spring and early summer of 2020 weren't as any of us were expecting. The George Equine Clinic has continued to care for all its patients throughout lockdown whilst adhering to public health demands and behaving responsibly but also lobbying the government in support of the equine industry. You can't turn horses on and off, furlough them or close them down for a few months! We hopefully reached a more pragmatic and risk-assessed attitude and, now the risks of outdoor transmission of Covid-19 are better understood, we can confidently all move forward for the second half of 2020. At The George Equine Clinic we remain committed to providing continuity of care for your horses from our highly skilled team who all work together. We know you want good value and we are prepared to work that bit harder to provide it whilst also ensuring that you receive continuity of care, delivered conveniently either at your home or at our clinic and to a high quality.

Communication is key, both with you and within our team. We all enjoy our work and the relationships we build with clients and their horses. As an independently-owned veterinary practice we are personally responsible for everything we do and all the decisions we make - we also discuss them as a team. We are able to work in the way that is best for your  particular horse and your particular circumstances. Although our equine veterinary team is growing, we  remain in that "big enough to cope but small enough to care" category!

We also have our Healthy Horse Club for those of you who want to spread the cost of all your horse's preventative health care needs across the year and receive discounts on other services.
