KBHH - Keeping Britain's Horses Healthy

KBBH logo

Some of you may have already heard of the campaign being run by MSD Animal Health called "Keeping Britain's Horses Healthy" (KBHH). The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness of and help reduce the risk of illness and disease in the one million horses stabled in Britain. KBHH is engaging with vets, owners and livery yards across Britain and is currently focusing on:

  • Educating and informing of the benefits of vaccination for endemic infectious diseases in the UK such as flu, tetanus, strangles and herpes

  • Setting a target vaccination rate of 70% for equine flu

  • Setting a target of all horses being vaccinated with Tetanus (100%)

Their website holds lots of useful information for horse and livery yard owners so please take a look and join us in supporting KBHH. Find more information at www.healthyhorses.co.uk or click the logo above.

Car stickers are available in all our branch surgeries, Malmesbury, Tetbury, Royal Wootton Bassett & Pewsey and also from our equine clinic at Garsdon. Alternatively, please ask one of our equine vets while they are visiting your yard; they will have a supply in their cars. GOOD LUCK!!
