Dogs Die in Hot Cars

The more of us who act and spread the message, the better the chances of reducing the number of deaths every year, where it's assumed a pet will be fine for a short while in a parked vehicle, with a window down.

Having rescued a distressed pet from a car parked for nearly an hour in a public car park outside the practice last week, we can't stress enough that chances should not be taken throughout the summer months. Even with the windows partly down the internal temperature of the vehicle can quickly rise way beyond that of the outside temperature.
