Equine gastric ulcers are common and they have a wide variety of clinical signs; however, the only way to diagnose them is via gastroscopy. This involves starving your horse 12 hours before the procedure to ensure their stomach is empty. Then we sedate them to pass the camera (called a gastroscope) into their stomach to assess its lining and look for ulcers.
We are hosting a gastroscope clinic on tuesday 23rd September. Contact us to book your place at a discounted price of £175 which includes sedation. Note that this offer does not include any treatment or medications prescribed subsequently.
