DEFRA Accredited DIY AI course (a 3-day course)

3-day course covering all areas of AI technique and semen handling. Areas covered include biosecurity, heat detection, welfare, health and safety plus semen collection and processing. The majority of the course consists of practical sessions giving delegates time to master the technique. All attendees are supervised throughout to ensure animal welfare is maintained to the highest standard, both for animals used on the course and going forward. 

Lantra Accredited First Aid for Feet (9am-5pm)

Delivered by BCVA Accredited Foot Health Trainer, Sarah Smith, in partnership with a CHCSB Accredited Foot trimmer & Instructor. 

This course is accredited for those doing lame cow trims on Sainsburys dairy farms.

Lantra Accredited Intermediate Foot Trimming course (a 3-day course)

A 3-day course, delivered by BCVA Accredited Foot Health Trainer, Sarah Smith, in partnership with a CHCSB Accredited Foot trimmer & Instructor 

Herdsperson's Course    

A two-day course covering various aspects of running a dairy herd:

A combination of theory and practical sessions providing an breadth of information for those looking to develop their skills, or a refresher for those looking to learn best practice.
