WORK EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITIES - now fully booked for 2018

At The George Veterinary Group we offer work experience as a week-long programme across most disciplines within the business. This allows us to present a more rounded approach to veterinary care covering pets, administration, nursing roles, and visits both at the Hospital as well as out "in the field" with ambulatory vets. We are pleased to take on any students who are genuinely interested in veterinary care and who want to learn more about what we do. Download further useful information here.

We get a lot of enquiries about opportunities for work experience, but if you would like to be considered then please email: workexperience@georgevetgroup.co.uk

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY ABLE TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS FOR 2019 AND BEYOND

Current Opportunities:

Client Care - Full time opportunity

As part of our continued commitment to Client Care and providing the best possible service for our clients we are looking to invest further in the front of house team with additional hours. We are therefore seeking to add to our Malmesbury-based team, and offering a full-time role. Although based at the Hospital, we're looking for the flexibility and ability to drive to cover other local clinics where the rota requires.

Please note that this role is likely to receive significant applications and so while we are not stating a closing date we anticipate that we will need to close this opportunity to new applications within a fortnight of the original post date of 20th September.

More details here.

Client Care - Saturday opportunity

Malmesbury Hospital - until Easter 2019

This could be the perfect opportunity for a local student who is looking for 5 hours every Saturday morning, with the opportunity to perhaps cover extra hours and weekdays during school holiday periods. Our Client Care team provides the first point of contact with our veterinary service for our clients and visitors. Most of the time there will also be pets visiting too, but often clients will pop in with queries or just to say hello and update records. We're looking for someone who is confident and has strong communication skills.

Find out more through our advert here

For all opportunities above then then please apply to Jason Vernon E: jason.vernon@georgevetgroup.co.uk  with C.V. and a covering letter.

NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS: Your cover letter is JUST as important as your C.V.

We're only looking for candidates who care and your cover letter tells us more than you think about your suitability for a role within our team. With so many candidates competing for the one role (on average 30+), don't forget to sell what makes you the perfect candidate for the advertised role.
