Bringing together farmers, vets, producers and industry suppliers to facilitate a forum for knowledge transfer and networking throughout the chain this year's cow Convention has build on the success and popularity of previous events with 150 attendees. A huge thank you to all who came along and to our speakers and trade supporters who provided great insight and experience in their field.
Our speakers were:
Martin Tomlinson (Genus ABS) - "Insights on Dairy Heifer Reproduction"
Nicolaas Vreeburg (Lallemand) - "Heat stress in the UK? How to avoid milk losses and rebreeders in 2023 using the Cow Signals approach"
Becca Cavill (Boehringer Ingelheim) - "Growing Healthy Calves- Reducing the effects of stress and disease"
Sion Parry (Cogent) - "Increasing efficiency with Ecofeed"
Dr Nick Bell (Herd Health Consultancy) - "Timing trims for best results - right cows, right time, right technique"
We are already thinking about how we can build on this for next year and hope you will join us at future events. For more information contact 01666 823035 or email farm@georgevetgroup.co.uk
